When in doubt….forget civility

Just a lil' bit racist

Every once in awhile I get that phone call on my radio show.  It’s the worst phone call because no matter what I say they will never be convinced otherwise.   It’s the “people don’t like Obama because he is black” call.   Do to the rise of Congressmen Alan West & Tim Scott and now with Herman Cain running for President, a lot of the racist rhetoric is starting to die out.  However, as we all know, sometimes you can’t teach an old dog new tricks….

“House Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn, the highest-ranking African-American in Congress, on Wednesday blamed most of President Barack Obama’s political problems on racism…’You know, I’m 70 years old,” he said. “And I can tell you; people don’t like to deal with it, but the fact of the matter is, the president’s problems are in large measure because of the color of his skin.’”

You’ll notice in the article Clyburn never mentions why he likes Obama. Just that “…the president has been a good president, a great commander in chief.”  While most of the so called “racists” have  many, many reasons why the don’t like Obama (none based on race).  It seems that a lot of Obama’s supporters are hard pressed to find a reason why they like him.  It seems to me the real racism is on the side who apparently only likes Obama because he is black.  But what do I know, I’m just a talk show host…

Take That Ron Paul

Whenever asked, Ron Paultards always mention Ron Paul’s ability to raise vast sums of money as proof he has a lot of supporters.  I still don’t know where Ron Paul fans get their money since most look like they can’t pay rent this month better yet have expendable money to donate.  However, using the argument money raised is an indicator of electability.  Mitt Romney will win by a landslide
